ABOUT MICHAELA

Growing up I was highly active until my scoliosis had other ideas. After having the surgery at 17 with no real rehab and support available, my body no longer worked as it used to. I spent the next 13 years exploring ways to support myself which highlighted the importance of working with your body as a team, rather than an obstacle to overcome.

Having an interest in the expression of the mind and body, I found remedial massage an effective medium to work with others in their own path to recovery. The body wants to heal itself, and remedial massage is a supportive and effective tool that can enhance and help educate you on your own body. No matter your background and interests, you can benefit from a massage.

Outside of the studio, I am either enjoying a coffee, running, cycling, getting choked at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or engaged in Budokon Yoga and Mobility movement.

I look forward to working with you in relieving tension and maximising the body’s potential.
